Twilight Saga “Breaking Dawn Part 1″ Premieres in Philippine Cinema | A Movie Review | Movie Trailer

Today, November 18, 2011, is a remarkable day for Twilight Saga fans. Yes, the part 1 of the 4th installment of Stephenie Meyer’s hit series Twilight Saga, the Breaking Dawn, was released today. I, myself, has been waiting for this day, being huge fan of the saga.

Honestly, I expected to feel a hint or slight disappointment before even watching the movie for I always do get disappointed when the movie version is slightly different with what is written on the book. As it turned out, not setting very high expectations on this movie made it more fun to watch. I was really satisfied, and even delighted, on how the movie turned out.

Also, I have read the book maybe a year ago so I really don’t remember the events in the 1st part down to the very last details. What I remembered was that the 1st part of the book was not as much as interesting as the 2nd part. However, the movie makers included scenes that made it more exciting (such as the fight scene between the wolves and the Cullens when Renesmee was born). This surely delighted the millions of fans that have already watched the movie.

One of the most wonderful scenes in the movie would be Edward and Bella’s wedding day, especially when they exchanged their vows to each other. What made it beautiful is that I FELT it. I felt is so much that it made me wish to have that same feeling someday with the right guy (hopefully, as good-looking as Edward). I loved it when Edward and Bella kissed like they were the only people on the world. This particular scene simply told the story of eternal love between the couple, the main reason why millions of fans got hooked with the saga.

Another notable scene, which I think was the most anticipated scene, was the love scene between Edward and Bella. It wasn’t dirty at all. It was literally a LOVE scene. Also, it has been anticipated by the fans because of how wild Meyer described it in the book (i.e. the broken bed and pillow feathers everywhere — basically, a mess), which was successfully conveyed in the movie, as far as I am concerned. For this, I salute the makers of this movie!

The movie will never be complete without showing off the hotness of Jacob Black (surely, team Jacob will agree with me on this). I was really amused by how the movie started: with Jacob going topless. Also, having Jacob as her bestfriend is enough reason for girls to envy Bella. Jacob’s character is someone whom Bella could always lean on. I admire how much he loves Bella to the point of leaving everything he cared about behind to protect her. Bella is such a lucky girl, indeed! And as it turned out, Renesmee is a lucky girl, too, having Jacob imprint on her.

The movie left the audience hanging with the anticipation of what would happen to Edward and Bella’s child, Renesmee. Is she immortal like Edward or human like Bella? Also, the audience should watch out what happens between Jacob and Renesmee and how Edward and Bella would react to it.

For how the movie has turned out, I must say praises to the movie makers! They surely have given justice to Meyer’s book. Also, kudos to the makers of animation for making them seem so real!

Part two of the Breaking Dawn will surely be very exciting, with the addition of a number of vampires, including the Volturi, who have appeared previously in New Moon and Eclipse. People should watch out what would be the Volturi’s intention on the Cullens. This, and a lot more will make the waiting for the last movie installment an agony to the millions of Twilight fans (me included).
