I’ve read from Sir Yuga that Smart is currently rolling out their newest broadband USB dongle, they called the Smart Bro Rocket Plug-it. It is HSPA+ capable and with rocket-speeds of up to 12Mbps on their mobile network.

The Smart Bro Rocket Plug-it will be made available for prepaid users with a retail price of Php3,995 and is set for release Friday next week. The 30-minute block metering will still be applied for this new prepaid plug-it, where you are charged P10.00 per 30 minutes of surfing irregardless of how many times you signed in within that period.
Similar with other Smart products, the service will be first rolled out to interested subscribers in Metro Manila and key provincial cities like Cebu and Davao.
As a long-time Smart Bro user, I’m excited to try out this one. I hope they make this available for postpaid plans.
