A serious threat to public health, the Deadly Superbug, has already spread in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. Superbug has no known cure yet for it resists the effect of most commonly prescribed antibiotics, including the most powerful antibiotics created by medical science. Prevention is the only option to be safe from the disease.
The Department of Health (DOH) warns the people against the superbug, given the fact that it has no known cure yet. Also, spreading of the superbug here in the Philippines is not unlikely due to the great number of foreigners, possibly from areas already invaded by the disease, that arrive in our country every day.
