Kapamilya actress Charee Pineda answered rumors about her alleged engagement to non-showbiz girlfriend.
During one of the photo shoots of the upcoming sequel of hit afternoon soap Angelito, the Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto, Pineda told the press that she is ready to get married. She, however, did not directly address the rumored engagement.
Nonetheless, she answered the questions by showing her ringless hand to the members of the press, implying that she’s not yet engaged.
Pineda also said that it is still to soon to comment on their relationship and that she will have to consult first with ABS-CBN bosses before she give any statement about her relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend.
The 21-year old actress added that she thinks she’s ready to get married. She believes that it’s not really the age that determines if one is ready for marriage, its the feeling and confidence that you are ready to take on more serious responsibilities. Even her mom married at an early age of 18.
Pineda plays the role of “Rosalie”, lead character Angelito’s wife. Angelito, on the other hand, is played by JM de Guzman. Kaye Abad will still be on the cast with John Prats as the newest part of the ensemble.
Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto is set to conquer the afternoon ratings later this year.
